Responsibilities

• Gather business and system requirements from client
• Assist client in defining requirements, suggesting ideas, and provide solutions
• Communicate with customers to clarify any unclear information about the business requirements
• Analyze and specify requirements, synthesize information provided by relevant stakeholders
• Quickly absorb and understand domain knowledge
• Assess the feasibility of the request when given a set of constraints
• Design application mock-up/wire-frame using prototyping tools and model the requirements by using charting tools
• Document the project operations (URD, SRS)
• Work with Quality Controller (QC) to verify that all system requirements, including change requests, are implemented and traceable
• Train project team members and stakeholders to understand the business
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
• Study, and propose new features (as well as improvements/enhancements) for software
• Take main BA role in big/complex projects (team size > 15)
• Have deep know-how (at expert level) in at least 1 business domain (e.g. Healthcare, Finance, Security, Insurance…) for at least 3 continuous years in projects
• Lead/coach BA team in big projects
• Do other tasks requested by Project Manager or Senior Manager

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information management system, or Business administration
• Likely having 5+ years of experience in BA depending on how fast your learning and developing capability
• Excellent in English communication (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), equivalent to IELTS 7.0
• Strong knowledge and perform tactical requirement gathering/management work, mostly independently, and require supervision for more complex work
• Proven ability in Business Analyst skill set: requirements engineering, business process analysis, facilitation techniques, documentation techniques, etc.
• Good knowledge of the software development process, especially software requirement analysis
• Good organizational and analytical thinking, and ability to capture and document both high-level concepts
• Strong communication, mentoring, and negotiation skills with stakeholders
• Good at problem-solving and consulting
• Strong at the tools, techniques, and processes required to capture requirements at generic and detailed levels.
