Responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable, testable, and efficient back-end features using Restful APIs
  Microservices in Ruby on Rails (sometimes do DevOps to deploy to staging/production) that
  can handle a crazy amount of traffic
• Analyze requirements, design and develop functionalities based on the product requirements
• Collaborating with the web developers and other team members to establish objectives and
  design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Integrate various frameworks and automation tools to support business and marketing teams
• Conduct code refactoring, optimization, building reusable components for future use
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
• Understand the product thoroughly, constantly optimize the product, identify and fix problems,
  improve stability and user experience
  

Knowledges & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information management system or Business
  administration
• At least 2 years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer
• Good knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, …) and understanding how to
  optimize SQL queries for better performance
• Know RESTful API
• Ability to write technical documents (designs, instructions, specifications,…) at a fairly high
  level
• Available attitude and ability to learn and learn to contribute to building better software
  development processes (ISO, CMMI) to ensure quality
• Good English is a must
• Able to work in an English-speaking environment
• Ability to build and reinforce trust with customers and colleagues
• Highly responsible for the assigned tasks
• Continuous improvement, innovation, and creation mindset
• Ability to build relationships, build trust with colleagues
• Adapt well with the company’s culture and working environment
